NADbank to Release 2010/11 Readership Data for Selected Markets

On Wednesday, September 28th, 2011, NADbank 2010/2011 Readership results will be released for the Toronto, Montréal, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton,Ottawa-Gatineau and Halifax. More details will be released in the next two weeks.

 

NADbank Launches Newspaper Integrated Planning Tool

On July 19, 2011, NADbank launched an Integrated Newspaper Planning Tool, providing members with the ability to evaluate the total impact of a newspaper’s print and website reach in the marketplace. Major Changes to NADbank 2011 - Market Related
  • Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa-Gatineau, Calgary and Quebec City are now being measured as full sample markets.
  • Addition of a Sherbrooke EMA; the geographical area covers the outer regions of the Sherbrooke CMA. The target sample size for this Sherbrooke EMA is 450 (150 for outer regions and 300 for the Sherbrooke CMA).
     
Review of Average Weekly Time Spent for Newspapers

Average weekly time spent for daily newspapers in the 2010 NADbank Study was significantly lower than 2009 (All Markets Readers: 223 vs. 203). This is outside of the trend where this metric fluctuates within +/-3%. Read More
